Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how SalePath ("SalePath," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our website and platform (the "Service"). It applies to clients who create an account to submit a property listing, and to the real estate professionals who use our broker console.

• Account information: name, email address, and phone number you provide when creating an account or updating your account settings.
• Property and listing information: address, property details, pricing, photos, and other content you enter or upload to prepare your listing.
• Signature and disclosure records: the disclosure forms and facilitation agreement you review and sign, together with the date, time, IP address, and browser/device information ("user agent") recorded at the moment of signing, as part of the legal record of that signature.
• Payment information: SalePath does not collect or store your full payment card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, which collects that information directly and shares with us only confirmation and the amount of your payment.
• Identity verification results: when you complete identity verification through Stripe Identity, Stripe collects and processes your government ID and related biometric/document information directly. SalePath receives and stores only a verified/not-verified status and the date of verification -- we do not receive or store the underlying ID images, document numbers, or biometric data.
• Communications: messages you send through the Service to our team or affiliated broker, and any correspondence you send us directly.
• Usage and log data: information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically as you use the Service.

We use the information above to:

• Create and manage your account;
• Pre-fill and help you complete your property listing;
• Generate and store your signed disclosure forms and listing agreement;
• Process payment for the facilitation fee;
• Verify your identity before allowing payment, as a fraud-prevention measure;
• Prepare and route your completed listing package to our affiliated licensed real estate brokerage for MLS entry;
• Communicate with you about your listing, including status updates and messages from the broker; and
• Maintain the security and integrity of the Service.

We share your information with:

• Our affiliated licensed real estate brokerage (Best Deal Realty), which needs your listing, property, and contact details to review, process, and enter your listing into the MLS on your behalf.
• Service providers who process data on our behalf, including Supabase (database hosting and authentication), Stripe and Stripe Identity (payment processing and identity verification), Resend (transactional email delivery), and RentCast (public-record property data used for pre-fill). Each provider processes your information only as necessary to provide their service to us and is subject to its own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review.
• Once your listing is entered into the MLS, the information included in that listing (property details, photos, and pricing) becomes publicly visible as part of standard MLS syndication, the same as any other MLS listing.
• We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of SalePath, our users, or others.

We do not sell your personal information.

We retain your account and listing information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations, including retaining signed disclosure records for the period required by applicable state real estate law. You may request deletion of your account as described below, subject to records we are required to retain by law.

You may review and update your account information at any time from your account settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, such as the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted storage and transmission, row-level database access controls, and restricted API keys scoped to the minimum permissions needed for each function. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is intended for users who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

In addition to the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and operate the Service, we use Google Analytics on our public marketing pages and client dashboard to understand how visitors use the Service, which sets cookies of its own. We do not use Google Analytics (or any other tracking) on the broker/agent console. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required by law, notify you.
